A manufacturing unit of "Low Ash Metallurgical Coke" was founded in the year 1973-74 at Dhanbad. At the time of inception its production capacity was 500 MT per month and today under the able guidance the production has shot up 5000 MT per month. Irrespective of non-availability Prime Coking Coal, FCC has always achieved landmark and produced LAM Coke. It is the only unit in Dhanbad to export coke to Bangladesh. The future prospects
of FCC are inevitably promising with such dynamic spirit propelling the progress of the unit.
